Naaa.
And some of you might been exposed about gigi bongsu or wisdom tooth . So those who didn’t grow yet their wisdom tooth, are you wisdom enough? 😝😝 okey such a harsh joke hahaha..haha actually only some people will grow it as it depends on multifactorial such as races and size of jaw .
By hearing rumors, some people might tell you that, it will be soooo painful to face the eruption period of this tooth. Oh, you will have 4 wisdom teeth. 1 each quadrant 😛.
One of my teacher used to paste some hot patches over her ramus. Because hot and pain innervated from a same nerve branch, so this will at least relief the pain a little bit still the pain is there.
You might heard some stories that most people removed this innocent tooth, due to unbearable pain, buccally erupted or it caused trouble to your other dentition. And here, in KOD, seniors will definitely haunting for you, just like animal like animal oooooo auuuuuuu. Haha okey because we have requirements to be considered so, you’re highly recommended to come over here and be our patient 🤩
Okey so that’s enough for other people’s experience. Now I let you discover my journey of wisdom tooth 😝 . Idk today, my english is so bad. Okey I was so disappointed actually when I discovered my first wisdom tooth appearance because I was hoping to grow taller a bit since I am just 151cm. Through my reading, fact stated that wisdom tooth will indicate that your height will stop increasing. Auch sedih i . My two other sisters have such an amazing height and body goal meanwhile, I still will look like year 6 student even I’m 21 🤯 ( it might be good that I have that forever youth hood but yeahhh who is going to marry the year 6 student ? 🔨)
Okey I don’t have any problem with the eruption 🌋, I just felt a little weird because the newly erupted cusps were so sharp and my tongue can’t stop to play there which caused me some minor bleeding 🤭.
Yes, not to forget, I also feel just slightly above the pain threshold. Which I still can bear. Tak manja kan.
So fast forward the story to my third wisdom tooth eruption. This was quite amazing experience ? Heh because it was soooo painful but I am having million of reconsiderations to go under knife and bur and hammer and dentist and chipmunk cheeks.
Fyyyuuuh.
So I just tried to settle down things by myself, try putting some ice, minyak gamat or even sleep, just to distract myself from this new comer. when it was about 98 % Of eruption, I realized that it was buccally erupted, means that the cusps are facing my cheek, still I’m not picking the choice of going for minor oral surgery🤢
But after the plateau state of eruption, I realized another bad thing about this new comer, I kinda have a little bad breath. Which I am not comfortable with the condition, hence I search for the causes inside my mouth. Tadaaa. There you go, it’s my flap operculum
What is flap operculum, ( thanks the internet )
Operculum, in dentistry, means a gum flap over any partially erupted tooth, particularly the third molar (wisdom tooth). This flap can get crushed between the tooth and the opposite tooth in the other jaw while chewing. The tissue of the operculum and the surrounding region of the gum can become tender and inflamed.
So what caused the bad breath is when the food trapped underneath the flap operculum. 🤮
So I was thinking 🤔 twice this time, if I make an appointment with the dentist, they will definitely pull out my tooth. Nooo, haha so if I keep it, my breath will continue to smell bad.
Tadaaa the idea came when I was cleaning the area by using my tongue after eating chocolate 🍫.
I was like what if I do this 🤔
Hence I washed my hand, and directly put my fingertips at the flappy gum and pull it out with a great pressure and pain, not to forget with some tears in my eyes 👀 huhuhu that was a terrible idea, but it work lah kan. Bleeding was like a river flow 🤣
Hmm, now I’m free from bad breath except after I woke up in the morning where the night before that I ate a lot and without brushing my teeth .
And it is so good to know that if we have a good oral hygiene, people will love us even more. I will love you even more too ! That’s a good character and even Rasulullah saw recommended us to brush our teeth before performing our solat. How cool is that.
